MISSION STATEMENT
Sentinel Sports is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that provides mental and physical wellness resources to first responders in the Las Vegas area.

Our current board is comprised of current local first responders working in law enforcement, fire and emergency medical services.
​
We accomplish the Sentinel mission by hosting events geared towards first responder interests, while simultaneously offering discreet access to our wonderful, caring mental health professional partners. Both public and first responder community engagement are critical to the outcome and success of our mission.

PROGRAM AT A GLANCE:
First Responders are fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins, and proud members of our community. They are so much more than their occupation of police officer, firefighter or emergency medical personnel. That is but one tiny part of their lives. They have goals, hobbies and an innate desire for connection and camaraderie. That's where the Sentinel program helps.

What began as a humble group of police officers playing recreational hockey has evolved into an inclusive program hosting a variety of activities meant to provide an affordable, accessible outlet to all first responders.

As a 501(c)(3), your donation is tax deductible. The Sentinels rely on your kind donations to keep the program running. First responders can often isolate because they don't want to feel burdensome. Pulling them out of that enough to participate in a group activity can be a tall order. Cost of attending is just another hurdle to jump. With your help, that's just one less thing to worry about. Anything helps!

FIRST RESPONDER MUSIC EXCHANGE
Join us in Vegas as we host the 14th Annual Vegas 911 Cup, the city's premier First Responder hockey tournament.

Dates are October 3-5, 2024 and team fee is $1500 with final payment due September 1, 2024.
​
Teams are guaranteed 3 games and all games will be played at City National Arena, practice facility of the Vegas Golden Knights.
